About Us
Our Mission
Welcome to Hope Wanders, a non-profit organization founded by Jessica Urton. At Hope Wanders, our mission is to empower and support women who have triumphed over abuse, fostering their connection with the healing power of the outdoors. We believe in the transformative potential of nature to inspire resilience, self-discovery, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Our Story
Hope Wanders was born out of a deep commitment to helping survivors of abuse reclaim their lives and discover the strength within themselves. Jessica Urton, our founder, envisioned a sanctuary where women could find solace, courage, and community in the great outdoors. Having experienced the healing power of nature firsthand, Jessica understands the profound impact it can have on one’s journey towards recovery.
Why the Outdoors?
Nature has a unique ability to nurture the mind, body, and spirit. It provides a space for reflection, growth, and empowerment. For survivors of abuse, reconnecting with the outdoors can be a transformative experience, offering a path towards healing and a renewed sense of self-worth. Through outdoor activities, we aim to build a supportive community where women can share their stories, inspire each other, and find strength in unity.
